Holiday Inn Helsinki West-Ruoholahti

Nice place, very clean, great value. Excellent breakfast. All staff were very kind.

The air conditioning in every room is installed directly above the beds. During the summer the air conditioners drip water onto the faces of the guests while they are sleeping. We tried changing rooms within the hotel, but the same problem occurred in every room once the air conditioning was turned on. We were unable to sleep properly because of the dripping water woke us up several times during the night. This is probably problem only during the summer months. Otherwise the hotel is clean and quiet for families to stay.

Even though i only stayed for one night, it was the best hotel i ever had in my Aurora trip. The room is cozy, spacious, and very functional. The gym is more than expected. Breakfast had a wide variety. The location could be tricky if you first arrived. but when you know you can pass through the mall to get the quickest way to the metro. It isn’t that far. Besides, it’s only two stops from the central area.
