I am a travel agent and highly recommend this property.
Located very close to the station, the tram stop and the metro stop, (the latter is inside the KAMPPI shopping center).
Inside the mall there is also a large supermarket to buy food and drinks.
Inside the room there is a mini fridge, a kettle and a microwave.
The bathroom is small but clean and leave you with a good supply of towels.
The room is large, (there is also a table for eating and a large mirror), clean and well heated.
There is also a hair dryer, a large TV and there are clothes racks.
Convenient cell phone sockets under the bedside table.
You also feel safe because without the code you cannot enter either the building or the room.
I also found the OMENA support girls very kind and wrote emails to them before leaving.
To be improved: fridge temperature is too high, (I froze yogurt).
The shower that is connected to the sink (so not very comfortable).
The curtain in the shower (which has always been a semblance of old).

Even if I just think of this place as a place to spend the night and not hang out, it still gets a 2. Stayed here at the start and end of our travels in Finland.
Pluses:
- close to places to eat and shop
- can walk from the train station (though it may be a pain to drag luggage across cobblestone streets)
- get in the building and room with the same code (so no key cards to carry or lose)
- small refrigerator
- microwave
Minuses:
- bathroom drain was slimy when we arrived, and I'd say the sink was not the most clean
- Bathroom light was on a timer and motion-sensored, so whenever we would shower, the lights would suddenly go out (and it was super dark in there). Had to stick my arm out beyond the shower curtain and move it around to get the lights back on.
- Room felt cramped because we had a gigantic column next to our beds the first time we stayed. The second time we stayed, that room felt more spacious because it didn't have a column in it.
- The sofa was extremely uncomfortable to sit on--it would sink down so far!
- The doorknob was loose the whole time, and our last day, it fell off. We were worried we wouldn't be able to open the door without the doorknob (and therefore not be able to retrieve the luggage), but we managed to open it and had to put the doorknob on ourselves (no reception desk).
- You can pay for breakfast nearby, but the choices were somewhat limited. It would be better just to buy something at the store for breakfast.
Bottom line: I was relieved when our stay here was over and would not ever stay here again.

firstly there are no staff at all for check in, you get a code which gets you in the building and your room, which is efficient but concerning if something goes wrong. the rooms are decent size with pull out sofa, fridge ect. but the beds are in dire need of replacing very hard and they need more pillows as we only had one very soft one each. so the sleep wasnt the best but for the price you have good facilities and are right in the city centre within walking distance to a lot of sights and shopping centres
