Brit Hotel du Parc Rive Gauche

Very disappointing – this does not look like a 3-star hotel I absolutely do not recommend this establishment. Honestly, this does not look like a 3-star hotel at all, but rather like a hostel or very poorly maintained accommodation. The cleanliness is truly deplorable: pigeon droppings everywhere, dirty carpet, shower with marks, poorly ventilated room, and a toilet flush that does not work properly. The environment is also very noisy, notably with a person smoking joints next to the room. The general condition is frankly disgusting and absolutely does not correspond to the advertised standard. I have photos that show the condition of the premises. Very bad experience and an establishment that I strongly advise against.

The only positive point of this 3-star franchised Brit Hotel is that it is located a 10-minute walk from Vichy city centre. The construction dates from the 1970s and has remained in its juice. Some of the studios are required by social services and are mixed with those of the paying clientele. The outdoor parking is not secure. There is no 24-hour reception. The common areas and corridors to the rooms are dirty, with bad smells, stained walls and carpets torn and eliminated. Studios with a cramped kitchen area and no ceiling light, are poorly lit. There's no dishwasher. Kitchen utensils are poorly washed and insufficient in number. Sleeping is very average with thin bed bases and very low beds and too close to the ground. Single-glazed windows are hard to open and allow noise and air to pass through from outside. The original 50 year old radiator does not heat up. Also note the dirtiness of the balconies with the presence of pigeon droppings. It is difficult and uncomfortable to charge mobile phones and tablets because the power outlets are not only badly placed but also insufficient in number. The value for money is bad. There is an urgent need to completely renovate this Apart hotels whose comfort does not deserve the 3-star rating.

Stay in love for a weekend. Service at the top, very hearty breakfast, attentive staff. I was advised very good restaurants in Vichy. We slept very well. Functional kitchen, which allowed us to prepare our meals. I will be happy to come back!
