P'tit Dej-HOTEL Digne-les-Bains

The problem for us was the location. Not a big one, just a minus. it´s a 5 minutes drive from Digne. But there is a supermarked across the street where you can buy breakfast etc. We chose to do this and had breakfast on our balcony with the beautiful mountains just in front of us. The room had a good size, and bathroom too. The bed was very comfortable. The free WIFI in the rooms are also a plus. Another plus is the free hotel parking-lot outside. There were a bit of noise coming from the other rooms at night, but not a big problem. I think maybe the walls are not so isolated though. The value was good and we had a good night here. Ideal if you have a car. The staff was OK - the man speak english, but the woman doesen´t. Be ware: the man is watering the flowers on the balconies in the morning - soaking the entire balcony : be careful if your belongings. All in all, it´s an average ++ hotel in my view.

I found that a lot of accommodation in Digne was either very expensive or got bad reviews. This hotel wasn't expensive at all, and the room while basic was clean, comfortable and spacious. Ok the decor to do with updating, but with on site parking and a supermarket across the road, it was perfect for us.
