That the hotel is a little outside the all-roads is something everyone can find out before booking a stay. And thus also have to go a bit if you want to buy something in the store. Much of the area around is closed as it is private and therefore it takes about 20-25 min to walk a road. We use Uber to drive to, for example, Antibes. Costs about €12-13 a way. Works perfectly well. To Cannes or Nice it is around €30. Dependent of time of the day. They have dynamic pricing.
We think the cleanliness in the room is good. So we don't understand the complaints about it. A little here and there the hotel carries a mark of wear, but it is inside. Maybe they should have considered removing the blankets and replacing this with hard floors instead. Then we get to what draws down the total impression; language understanding, behavior and forbidden signs. What the hell is this. Can't you hire people who can barely speak a word of English? Absolutely amazing!!! And it applies to almost everyone. If you want international guests, send staff to teach English. And on the same course; “service, tact and tone”. It is then we guests who should be in focus. Look at your guests. Help your guests. Ask your guests. Take care of your guests.
And what was going on at the meeting when they decided to tapet walls and doors with banned signs?!? On the way into the pool area and as a last welcome is not less than 12 banned signs sticked up. Everything is forbidden!! Not the box with Pringles we had in the bag we were allowed to eat off. Don't eat a kiwi. Don't drink a Coca-Cola. It's incredible. The guards took some of the water games they had from the children. Here it should not be nice and cozy. And for the sake of order, we were an adult couple with no children. My recommendation is to have an introduction on the website of the hotel with everything that is not allowed so it is easier for guests to consider whether you are going to spend €2500-3000 at all on a week's stay. Overall with travel, food and lodging, you would like to have something for the money. Not sure if Thalazur Hotel is the place.

Evening spent at the Thalazur Antibes restaurant was disappointing. Besides the always very pleasant panorama, we experienced a lack of service at the aperitif, many tables not cleared, dirty, and cushions soaked probably by swimsuits (a clientele not respectful of the premises) that's a change!! So, after the aperitif we went to the restaurant, skirt wet from the cushions (unpleasant): staff friendly, but with no correlation to the cuisine. Taking the order without knowing if the dishes are still available in the kitchen (even though it wasn't crowded that night). In short, far from prestigious, the quality of a decent cafeteria. We have known better. Too bad!!!

The choice of the indoor pool lining is grainy and scratchy for the feet and on the seats, also what a disappointment the jacuzzi which is not one since it is inside the pool so at the same temperature and there is nothing to sit on..
Outside, it is impossible to walk barefoot from the lounge chair to the pool because the ground is so degraded, like crevices and pebbles!!
To finish, a dame blanche sundae for 11€ served in a ramekin with cold chocolate from a tube.
Anything but relaxing, too bad.
