Residhotel Villa Maupassant

Very disappointed with this establishment. The price is exorbitant given the quality of the apartment. The bedding is more like cots than real hotel bedding. The bathroom is very damaged, with numerous marks in the bathtub, notably black marks and rust stains. Some doors are impossible to close properly because they get stuck when you push them. The tile is cracked and several dining room chairs are half unscrewed: we almost fell several times. The floor was also very dirty, clearly giving the impression that it had not been cleaned for a long time. The most surprising thing is that the establishment asks guests to return the apartment clean, even though it is not even clean upon arrival. Finally, the apartment is advertised as being able to accommodate 4 people, but the dining table is only suitable for 2 people. The location is certainly convenient, but that is absolutely not a sufficient argument to justify a price of €1,200 for one week. At this rate, one expects clean, well-maintained accommodation with a minimum of comfort. Given the price paid, the value for money is clearly disappointing.

Disappointed. An establishment that is not credible. Last weekend on August 8th, we came at 7 PM, we called the service number, no answer, I will never encourage anyone to come here to stay.

The Residhotel Villa Maupassant disappointed me greatly; when booking, you are lured in with great pictures of the location and a pool. Since we were just passing through and only booked one night, we were glad not to stay here any longer. There were no parking spaces; we had to park 1 km away. Upon entering the apartment, the door handle fell off, and the light switch was broken, so it was difficult to turn on the light without being afraid of getting an electric shock. The toilet was loose, the bathtub was black and gray; when you have a long car ride behind you, you want to take a shower without being disgusted, and the towels were not clean either. Thank God we brought our own. It was dusty everywhere in the corners as if it had never been cleaned there. So we are never coming back here.
