Hotel Colette

Definitely an overrated hotel and absolutely not worth the price paid. For a room of almost 350 euros, I expected a different level. The room was very small with only one rack for a suitcase, the other on the floor on carpet of questionable cleanliness. There wasn't even a small table next to the bed to leave a cell phone, glasses, etc. The carpet gave a feeling of poor maintenance and the window looked out onto a cramped and very dirty internal courtyard, CONSIDERING THE PRICE OF THE ROOM, in my opinion, completely out of proportion.

Reception was terribly impersonal. Lady unfriendly. In the morning when checking out, no good morning, nothing... incredibly rude. Never experienced. The room was fine though.

The hotel is very centrally located, right across from the train station, which is convenient for exploring the city. The common areas are the most updated parts of the hotel, but overall this is definitely no more than a 1 star/motel experience. The room is very small, the bathroom is okay, but everything feels outdated. The biggest issue is the carpet smell in the room — thankfully we can open the window for fresh air. The bed sheets were not changed, hair everywhere, we asked for new bedsheets to change them. Horrible place. We are staying in Room 101 for 4 nights, and the window opens directly onto the back patio, which also feels lacking in privacy and security. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel or stay here again.
