Hotel Panorama

Clean beds and air con, which were the main things we needed. Taxi service picked us up and dropped us off. Be very clear how many people are travelling. Sink leaked and door was very difficult to lock. Reported to cleaners but told not to worry! You can see owners are trying to improve things, but still lots to do.

We booked this hotel because of its central location to the perfume factories we wanted to visit. Just checked out the luxurious Monaco Marriott, we came to this hotel with the trash dumster at the entrance, an old lobby and a black dog lying on the floor. We left our luggage there to come back at 2pm to check in. I asked to buy a cup of coffee but the machine was broken. I asked to use the bathroom but was told there was a public toilet around the corner. Anxiously, I was thinking about canceling the reservation and tried to book another hotel. I came back at 2pm to check in to see if the room was acceptable. The receptionist was very pleasant. She gave me room 504 and told me that the elevator was broken. I told her I would go up and checked the room first. The room was renovated with wood floor, white walls, modern and clean bath room with 3 clean beds. The AC was set at 21 C- colder than the luxurious Monaco Marriott I just checked out! I gladly took my 3 luggages upstairs with the front desk help. The housekeeping service the next day was satisfactory. During breakfast, the owner told me that the dog in the lobby was the one that, a few years ago, ran out of its owner's room to seek help because she was dying! The ambulance came in time and the girl was saved! The hotel owner took in the dog... I would come back to this hotel for its central location, low rates, clean room, beds ,bath, cold AC , friendly front desk and good housekeeping service.

Depressing room, with greasy doors, walls that should have been entirely white but are stained, and black marks from previously hung pictures. There were remnants/hooks of something that had been previously placed and then removed. A broken chair in the room. Non-blackout curtains. Recently renovated bathroom, the only pleasant aspect of our accommodation. Outside the room, we found an abandoned trash bag full of garbage. The reception area is cramped, with dirty windows, two stray dogs, everything but a welcoming place. Fortunately, we only had to sleep there for one night. Outrageous price for the type of accommodation offered.
