We had a wonderful stay! The location allowed us to be close to all the excitement, while tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. The rooms were well appointed. The best part of our experience was the staff. So welcoming, so helpful! They made our stay the delight it was!

Excellent 'boutique' hotel furnished very well in a great location with parking. Very cute and functional room. Beautiful outdoor pool. Professional staff and a nice and very helpful owner. I recommend it!

I personally use trip advisor reviews a lot ,carefully taking account of all the biases and pitfalls and aware of the potential for fakes. So i feel it is incumbent on me to review my own experiences to help others .But that is somewhat difficult when many aspects of a stay are fine but others fall short and one does not like to criticise unfairly . La Villa Cap D'Antibes was ultimately a little disappointing although one started with high expectations My rating would be 3.5 stars if possible . The first disappointment was the location .It is not in Antibes at at all but Juan Les Pins. The trouble is that Antibes has a cachet of sophistication whereas JLP has not quite the same reputation hence the attempt to get Antibes into the name .The whole area is one big residential and commercial blob and Cap D'antibes is also in there as well .If you are walking ..JLP is maybe 15 minutes from the hotel whereas Antibes or Cap is at least 40 minutes whatever anyone tells you . Taxis are crazy prices ..Uber much more reasonable and available and good . The actual hotel is small ,i believe 20 or so rooms ,and the rooms are perfectly nice and quiet with good large beds .But there is one serious serious problem which many may not know about and is not unique to this hotel but probably to most if not all . In the summer months this area is very hot 30c or more every day up to say 34 or 35 . The French Government has apparently issued an edict to control the use of aircon for environmental reasons so almost nowhere now uses aircon ..hotels and restaurants . The result is that the air atmosphere from say 10am to 21pm is muggy and sweaty everywhere and one's hotel and restaurants are no relief . If you see a sign saying salle climatisee it is left over from years ago [deliberately not taken down] and is not aircon ..at best a couple of useless ceiling fans . In La Villa there is aircon in the rooms but way underpowered . We had to have ours on maximum 24 hrs a for 7 days and it still only reduced room temperature to about 23 c...just about ok to sleep but a welcome relief when one came in .Nowhere else in public areas aircon at all . And in the rooms another shortfall is there is no fridge . So cannot keep soft drinks or milk or anything else .Hotel will store these items in kitchen fridge but therefore every time you want something you have to call down and get it sent up .Crazy .What hotel doesnt have a minibar fridge ? cannot be cheeseparing as they cost so little ..probably another eco fixation . The grounds of the hotel are lovely and surround the excellent pool ..clean and warm . Plenty of loungers and an excellent bar and snack area with decent small range of food . All staff throughout hotel excellent . Breakfast ok ish but lacks a little flair . So ...maybe go at shoulder of seasons but definitely not from mid june to early sept ..
