Suite Affaire Cannes Vieux Port

I have decided to stay in suites for second time already. First time I was searching for hotel just few days before MAPIC. This accomodation option was one of few still available with interesting rate and promissing comfort. This year I have returned even my rate doubled. It´s not really hotel, it´s apartment for rent. Location is excellent. If you take airport bus from Nice than it´s just 5 minutes walk from bus stop in Cannes. It´s easy to walk from this place to most of places in Cannes. It´s very close to exposition hall. That is why I wanted to stay again in this place. Apartment is simple. Kitchen is fully equiped and dishes are really clean. Overall apartment is clean. If you like to cook instead of going all the time to restaurants that this is good option. Carrefour supermarket is again in walking distance. I am spending most of the year in hotels and this was nice change. It´s really an apartment, not hotel. Therefore do not expect even soap in bathroom or daily clean up of your room. Cleaning is performed only every 7 days unless you pay extra for this service. It´s up to you to do dishes before check out and throw away garbage. So keep on mind to bring soap and shampoo, dishwasher tablets and detergent for dishes. Towel and toilet paper is available in apartment. Phone in the room serves only to call front desk. No other calls are allowed - not even toll free - which was a problem for me when I had to attend conference calls. Internet is working well but you can´t try to download any file otherwise connection automatically cuts off. TV channels are only in french, not even one in another language. The banket used in apartment is french style and it was sort of cold to me at night. Still there is something not easy to explain that makes me to like to stay in these apartments... Next year I might again return to this place.

When I first walked into the apartment, I was a little disappointed as the internet made it look better than it actually was. Once I got over the disappointment I soon grew to love it. The location is the best thing about it and was ideal for my mum who isn't as mobile as she used to be. Close to everything and no hills! The apartment has quite a few design flaws but they didn't spoil our stay. It was just surprising that such a new place seemed poorly thought out and designed. The kitchen was adequate and we used the cooker and dishwasher regularly. On the first day we went and bought a couple of tea towels and some washing up liquid for a few euros so not having these provided wasn't a problem. There was plenty of crockery, glasses and cutlery. Francesco at Reception was fabulous. He was extremely helpful and friendly. On our last day, 2 hours after checking out, we discovered that there was an air traffic control strike and we couldn't get home. The earliest flight we could get was 4 days later so we needed accommodation. Francesco called his boss immediately and tried to get us a good price for the only apartment which was available as it was out of our price range. Before he got a hold of his boss, people started to call and cancel their reservations as they couldn't get in to France. Francesco managed to shuffle some bookings and get us back into the apartment we had just checked out of. We visit Cannes every year or every second year and this has been our overall favourite accommodation. We will definitely book again next time we are in Cannes. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family.

It was a great holiday and a great hotel.It is good place to go at the beach.The room is big.I had a suite (family).We had two rooms one bathroom and one kitchen.It is very clean and very confortable.Is big and the hoteliers are vvery good.
