Club Belambra La Bergerie

Club very well located for visiting the French Riviera and the Nice hinterland.

Couple's stay for 2 weeks half-board at the end of June/beginning of July in a bungalow with a terrace. The club is located in a wooded park in the forest, which is very pleasant. Nevertheless, it is out of the way and having a vehicle is absolutely necessary to get around. No walking tours are interesting. No shuttle is provided and a bus does pass by, but at the bottom of the hill that leads to the club. The club has remained stuck in the past and the accommodations, even though they are spacious, remain dated. There are large swimming pools but the restrooms are out of the way and strangely there are smells of urine... Regarding the entertainment and pre-dinner games, it feels more like a quiz show than a nice moment over a cocktail. The World Cup is currently on, soccer nights galore, even for matches without the French team... thanks for those who paid for entertainment and lounge evenings... regarding the catering, basic meals and always forced to ask for the rosé to be restocked even at the beginning of service. Note, however, the excellent pizza maker. Table service is provided by nice young people except for one dining room manager, Charlotte, who was unpleasant, applying the restaurant's "rules" to the letter, notably the impossibility of finishing one's drink on the terrace to follow the start of the entertainment... Very poor value for money. On the other hand, there are beautiful visits to be made in the region, be careful, you have to like the mountains... 24/7
