Nice Riviera Sweet Home

My husband and I stayed at Genevieve's B&B for six nights. We had a room with an ensuite. The room was very large with a king-size bed, extra twin bed, dinette and nice view of the park across the street. Genevieve is very kind and was helpful with our travel plans. The continental breakfasts she served in the dining room were delicious! It was convenient to have a well-stocked kitchen to make coffee/tea and store food in the refrigerator. The location is ideal as it is close to the train station and also close to the sea. In the neighborhood are good and varied restaurants and a few grocery stores. There are buses and trams that make it easy to get around the city, including to and from the airport. We had a lovely and memorable stay at Genevieve's!

We were so glad to find this beautiful homely B&B / hostel. It is near the centre and near the sea. Lovely spacious rooms.. Some of us had a private bathroom , some of us had to share a bathroom but all very clean. There is a kitchen to use and a dining area with balcony. The owner is a lovely lady that will do your washing for a small fee or help you with a free map to explain you all about the best spots of Nice. The beds are very comfy and I can not believe that these places still exist. Best stay in the Cote d'Azur and the price was even better. Lovely , lovely , lovely... We will all come back soon! We choose this BnB based on the fact we were on a budget and looking for a somewhat central place to stay with parking. It must be noted that parking IS NOT available directly around the building but instead 2 blocks down - which isn’t too bad but not as advertised. The place was lovely although very hard to find as it is an apartment and you need to look on the call buttons at the front of the building for the listing. The apartment itself is slightly outdated but that didn’t stop us from having a good sleep and a nice shower the following day. Breakfast is included but not served until 9am. The owner is lovely!
