Pierre & Vacances Residence Premium Julia Augusta

Apartment on the 1st floor street side: perfect for not missing any of the noisy parade of deliveries from 6 a.m., before the ballet of the garbage truck in the evening. The welcome is in keeping, just as "warm" as it is efficient (impossible to change accommodation, obviously, no desire to find solutions). The level of service borders on genius; Holey towels and zero storage in the shower. Strict rationing: 3 dishwasher tablets for 4 people over 7 days, minimal dishes. Sofa bed bedside lamp switch located in the hallway (nothing like a little walk to fall asleep). A balcony furnished with a table and 4 chairs, but without a hint of a lounge chair or a parasol, not to mention the absence of mosquito nets against the local squadrons. The practicality of the accommodation was slightly neglected! In short, a price-quality ratio far from the promises.

Just got back from a weeks stay. We stayed in a one bed apartment (106) which overlooks the front across from the bakery - great location, beach just a couple of minutes walk, train also within easy reach. Apartment spotless and had everything we needed… toaster, 2 types of coffee machine, kettle, microwave, hob. As a family of four our kids shared the sofa bed which did make the lounge area a little cramped however we were out most of the day so didn’t bother us. Beds were comfortable. Supermarket next door which has everything you could need! Reception staff always very friendly. We had a great stay and would definitely stay again. One thing we didn’t realise until we got there was the trains are a little disrupted at the moment fir the rest of the month due to works being carried out which means the trains don’t always stop at carnoles the local station, make sure you check the timetable as on our first night arriving in the dark we nearly ended up in Italy!! Only negative is you only get one lot of towels to use all week unless you pay to change throughout your stay, so you’re reusing the same towel each night for a shower, if you stay 11 nights then you get a changeover for free. Also just to mention when you arrive back to the reception at night everywhere is in darkness once the reception staff go home, apparently the lights are motion activated but many times when we arrived back at night the lights in reception didn’t come on which was a bit strange at first but we got used to it!

We had an excellent stay at the Pierre & Vacances Julia Augusta residence in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin. The residence's strong points: Ideal location: Located a stone's throw from the beach and shops, the residence allows you to do everything on foot. It is also a starting point for visiting Menton, Monaco, and the hinterland of Eze and St Agnes. Rooftop pool: The outdoor pool on the rooftop is a real plus for relaxing at the end of the day. Comfort and amenities: The apartment was renovated, clean, and well-equipped (especially the kitchen and the air conditioning, which was very appreciated this summer). Quiet and welcome: The environment is peaceful and the on-site team was welcoming, available, and gave good advice for our outings.
