Le Mas De Pierre

It is most amazing property that has been updated with care and quality and run exceptionally well. Since the last year when we stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks we visited 4 other Relais and Chateaux properties ( 2 in Brittany and Normandy one in Piedmont and one in Italy ( Bergamo area) All of them 5 stars. Also , visited 2 other FHR properties. None of them had such an exceptional level of service as Domaine du mass di Pierre. In addition, quality of food, presentation, quality of new spa , front Desc, and housekeeping deserve recognition. I do believe it all comes from GM Audrey Jorge. A year later we still compare our experience in the hotel with all other places. Sending our daughter and son Inlaw there , all our friends to this hotel is the testament to the quality of this beautiful property.

My wife and I enjoy an anniversary break every June, which involves 3 or 4 nights somewhere and arranging childcare for our 4 young children. Since we first visited Le Mas de Pierre in 2012, we have been regular visitors and in recent years have visited every June. It is so easy for us to visit from the UK, as the flight to Nice is short and the hotel only a 20 minute transfer from the airport. Once you step onto the hotel grounds, it is an oasis of peace, calm and tranquility, particularly at that time of year (ie away from school holidays). The weather is usually perfect, the spa is exceptional, the staff attentive and helpful and the rooms very comfortable. In terms of ‘areas for improvement’, we think the breakfast could be executed to a higher standard (we think it is currently very good, rather than exceptional) and the fine dining restaurant onsite still isn’t quite at the level it could be. As a couple we really like dining in fine dining restaurants on special occasions and whilst the setting is beautiful, the quality of the menu needs further improvement to become truly memorable. It won’t stop us returning though, as this hotel is one of our ‘special places’ that we are really pleased to discover and watch evolve over the years.

What can I say! By far my favorite place: it is magnificent, the gardens, the sculptures!!! the rooms are great, friendly valets, high-end receptionist, super bar, gourmet restaurant, fantastic breakfast, and the SPA! I could live in this spa, it is so wonderful. We go there every year with my husband for our wedding anniversary and we wouldn't miss this moment for anything in the world!!! Bravo to the Domaine!
