This hotel falls below the generally good standard of Novotel. I had to wait at the reception for around 5 minutes while the receptionist did other things before eventually checking me in - a very bad first impression. At breakfast many tables were left uncleared for quite a long time. Eventually a member of staff arrived who checked the food situation but ignored the uncleared tables. The management of this hotel needs to improve standards and get better staff if necessary.

Very good reception and a room similar to all Novotel rooms, so no unpleasant surprises. As for the rest, we were quite disappointed: the hotel is still somewhat out of the way compared to the center and the castle; narrow beds and uncomfortable bedding; large dispensers of shampoo and soap, but none of the little extras one expects in a 4-star (and that I had not brought): conditioner, cotton swabs, etc. Only one tea bag for two on the welcome tray, not replenished on the second day (we had to ask)... In short, small details that annoy... And above all, a very disappointing breakfast, not up to the usual Novotel buffets and certainly not worth the price paid (almost €20, which falsely suggested a nice buffet).
