This is a nice, budget friendly hotel in Carcassonne. Old building with modern facilities, good breakfast and nice people, will make your stay in Carcassonne pleasurable for sure. Close to La Cité and good restaurants.

Right opposite main station (you just have to cross the bridge over the Canal du Midi. Very good value. It's been a hotel since 1800 (when proximity to canal and main road out of town towards Paris must have been a real bonus). Foyer, dining room and bedroom all retained original architectural features. Very comfortable bed. Ultra-modern bathroom. Very frfiendly good-humoured staff. Shutters and very thick curtains keep light and noise out of bedroom, ensuring excellent night's sleep. Very friendly, good-humoured staff. Stayed just one night between flying in late and taking train next morning but Carcassonne is a fascinating town and the hotel is well positioned and equipped for a longer stay. Already planning to stay again in March.

Booked a double room which had a huge bed and adjoining room. Good size bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities and fridge. Everything we could have hoped for considering the price. Very much enjoyed our stay
