Domaine De Marseillens

Fantastic weekend and unbeatable hospitality. Will return for sure and will recommend to family and friends. The breakfast was delicious and the room was comfortable and fancy decorated. The bathtub was a plus and the water pressure and temperature outstanding

Spent four nights here at the beginning of September and absolutely loved it. Carcassonne itself is a wonderful place for a short visit and Serge and Muryel added to the experience. They were so kind and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We particularly enjoyed the chat at breakfast with them and the other guests. Breakfast itself was lovely too with plenty of local produce and it's the first time I've drunk coffee from a bowl! The property is about 2.8 kms outside Carcassonne so a car would be helpful but it is quite easy to walk or use taxis. The bus service wasn't brilliant.

Serge and Muryel make you feel very welcome at their rustic and charming Bed and Breakfast. It is about 5 mins by car from the stunning Carcassonne Cite, where there is plenty of parking and a lot of choice of restaurants for lunch or evening meals. The breakfast at the Domaine was the best of our two week stay in Languedoc and Provence, with croissants, hams, cheese and even gateaux. It is a communal table but that all adds to the lovely atmosphere of the place. Would definitely stay again when visiting this wonderful area.
