Citotel Jalade

Billed with hotels.com who told us by email just before our arrival that our booking was still good. We arrived to find that the hotel reception was chained up with nobody there and litter on the floor. No answer on phone. No furniture in reception and prices in window at 2017 rates. Had to find other hotel urgently. Checked again be,t day and no change. This hotel still co.we up on booking websites. We are trying to ensure that we are not charged. Do not book here! Hotels.com should be on top of this.

We stayed here as a stopover on the way to Spain. Whilst the hotel is quite basic, it was clean with adequate facilities and in a great location as is walking distance to the town. There's no onsite parking but we parked across the road at the station, but you do need to pay for it. Staff were friendly and helpful. You can't check in until 5.30pm so there is a queue around this time but we didn't have to wait too long. Would stay here again next time we need a stop en route south.

We stayed her for one night on motorcycle trip. No garage but they moved tables so we could park 6 bikes on front patio. Hotel and breakfast all very good. Ideal location near town centre and rail station if required. Would stay again.
