Best Western Hotel Le Schoenenbourg

Perfect in every way. Great rooms, à spa and an outside pool. On site parking, à great breakfast and good restaurant. We have visited every year for the last 5 years on our road trips from London to Italy. It’s a perfect place to stay. The village of Riquewihr is one of the most beautiful villages in France and is a centre for Alsatian wine production with several famous producers here. The hotel sticks à really nice selection of them by the glass or bottle. A very well run and good value hotel which we will return to.

Upscale hotel in a great location just outside the walls of Riquewihr convenient to visiting the town or walking the vineyards. Friendly staff, comfortable cool room on a hot evening. Breakfast included a nice variety of hot and cold items with local cheese, enjoyed on the terrace. We did not try the evening meal. A little pricey, but worth it for the air conditioning.

Comfortable hotel, breakfast quite simple but good. The welcome is pleasant. Simple but complete room. The hotel has a garage and an outdoor pool with lounge chairs. An asset of this establishment is its immediate proximity to the village (3 min walk), which allows people who do not wish to walk long distances to stay in a setting in the middle of the vineyards and to visit the village easily. We did not test the restaurant.
