A magnificent staircase with beautiful stained glass, but with old comes "creaking".... We did not have a good night that day; it was very hot, and in this hotel, there is no air conditioning, just a fan that does not blow much cool air and is too small for a room. When we took the room, it was unbearably hot. In the evening, returning was even worse. Impossible to have a cool shower; the faucet only worked with hot water, even boiling. A sauna all night even with the window open with all the nighttime noises: train, tram, cleaning vehicles, guests entering their rooms with the creaking hallway, slamming doors. We spoke to the reception about the shower; we were advised to talk to the housekeeping staff, whom we never found. Regarding breakfast: good variety, fresh fruit juice. Helpful staff.

Beautiful hotel near the center, with a lovely view of the river and blooming bridges. Arriving by car, we also made use of the parking. The entrance to this garage is just a few steps from the hotel (the hotel is at number 1 and their garage is at number 5), and it has a very narrow entrance. We had to fold in the mirrors, and there were really only a few centimeters of distance from the wall. Great location, quiet. If you close the windows, you won't hear the noise. The breakfast was excellent! One thing we really liked was having the option to fill our water bottles in front of the reception. A nice thought for thirsty tourists. Our room did not have an air conditioner. We recommend equipping all rooms with air conditioners because it was very hot the first night, despite the fan. A hotel that feels like home❤️
