Appart Hotel - Sejours & Affaires Aix-en-Provence Mirabeau

We were very pleasantly surprised by this place. Room was on small side but had everything we needed including kettle! It also has cooking facilities and fridge though we didn't use these. Location is quite quiet, but still only a few minutes walk from the centre of Aix en Provence. Receptionists were very friendly and helpful. However, be aware there is no room cleaning/ bed making unless you specifically ask for it. It is not really a hotel, 'apart-hotel' just about sums it up. Very reasonable price.

Despite a catastrophic Welcoming by a very unpleasant woman, I liked the cozy and warm apartment with a small balcony. Central and convenient area. I'd like to come back if you could improve the Welcoming.

Having read some of the reviews we arrived with slight trepidation! But in reality we were really pleased with the place. The rooms are not huge, but ours was certainly big enough for two and did not feel cramped. The balcony was a great addition. No oven but a decent hob and a microwave and a big fridge! The air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping the room at a great cool temperature. Straightforward arrangement for checking in after reception was closed, staff helpful, 24 hour access easy and our room was cleaned and the bedding and towels were changed once during the week. The best feature of all was the location.....so close to the Old Town, the Cours Mirabeau and the markets. Wow!!! Let's be honest, somewhere priced reasonably in the middle of Aix is a great find. Yes, the bathroom was small, the cistern was indeed above the toilet (careful after wine!!) and the room was not vast but we thought it was fantastic value and will be back.
