Hotel Renaissance Aix En Provence

We had 2 rooms at this property which is very conveniently located and within easy walking distance to the restaurant and museum district. In addition to superior location, the property has two other attractive features: 1. abundant parking at Euro 30 per night; and 2. a very outstanding concierge in the form of Mr Jallel. He gave us real insider's knowledge about planning out itinerary to Lavender country, places to eat, as well as a very nice beach next to Mustier St Marie. No need for tour guide if you consult with him. The weak points of this property is that the gym is small and the equipment is tired and outdated. If there are more than 3 people in the gym then you start feeling restricted in your movements.

We stayed at the Renaissance for 5 nights, and everything about it was great. The location is an easy 5-minute walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The entire staff is superb. We tried to keep track of their names to be sure and give them a shoutout: Catherine, Jallell, Matheo, Chloe, Thomas, Nathan, Mathilde, Annelle, and Mariana. If we missed a name, sorry. Everyone was kind, helpful, and professional. A very enjoyable stay!
