Hotel Saint Ferreol

We stayed for one night at this hotel. Quick stopover in marseille and fortunately because this hotel is closer to a bypass hotel than a tourist hotel. To start the elevator does not work, room on the 3rd floor... The room smells like cigarettes, despite having left the window open all evening the smell is not gone. The decoration is more than special... The TV doesn’t work, an old system with antenna, we had to get up several times to move the socket until it remained frozen on the screen and we decided to turn off. Finally no hot water in the shower. The reception told me that we had to wait at least 7min which is a shame for the waste of water... So it was a cold water shower without pressure. We did not have breakfast and fortunately because given the quality of the hotel I think it is not up to standard. For 130€ a night run away!

I do not recommend staying at this hotel. I travel alone, so it is very important for me to stay in hotels with security and reception 24/7 for any reason. So they put it, but in the early morning, until 7 a.m. there is no one. I had a terrible night, without rest, for a party in the building right in front of my room. Music blared in the hotel’s rudimentary windows late into the night. While this situation exceeds the responsibility of the hotel, call the front desk 3 times to see if they could help me (change rooms? Calling the police to report annoying noises and they can help me because I don't speak French?) and there was no response. I went down to the reception and there was NOBODY. The second night I was supposed to leave around 5am and when I came down, there was no one again. It is an insecure area so I ask myself big questions about the security measures of this hotel. The staff is friendly but not resolute. The rooms were clean and clean. The bathroom had bugs in the bathtub. And the toilet was distilling an unbearable sewer smell.

The hotel cancels my reservation the same day while I am on the train to Marseille at 16:30. I booked through Booking and I am told that "I only have to do with Booking" in "go brush" mode thank you for the respect of the customer. Flee those people who can’t guarantee your stay when you’ve booked well in advance.
