Perfect for both the welcome and the comfort, and an ideal location for visiting the city Very appreciable, the parking in the city center, provided you book in advance If the parking lot is full, parking in the neighborhood can be a difficulty decent breakfast

The hotel is located in the city center within easy walking distance of the restaurants. The concierge doesn't speak English too well, but he is making an effort and is very friendly and helpful. The room itself is relatively small, but the bathoom in ours was almost as big, of which only a part is used for a bath and toilet. Weird configuration. Room number 2 is located at the fron of the hotel. Trams run til late at night and starting early in the morning. Not a big issue but something to keep in mind. There is no airconditioning (as is mentioned on the site), but you might need one during the summer when the temperatures run high. A fan is provided. Breakfast is served downstairs. No buffet.

easy to access, good welcome, quiet. beautiful city of Caen and its buildings that survived the 39-45 war. city full of history and its museum about the landing very well explained and preserved. Caen tourist office with its staff very good for informing you about the different sites to visit.
