La Cremaill

This hotel was considerably over priced. We paid for a room with pull out couch and queen bed. E687 for one night, twice the cost of our nicer rooms in the center of Paris. The best part of this stay was the breakfast - a great selection of items, and plenty available. I would not say this hotel is worth the money. The garden part of the hotel is around the corner and down a driveway from the street that the rest of the hotel is on. It is very quick and easy to get to the beach from the garden wing. I was advised upon arrival that should we wish to dine at the restaurant a reservation was highly recommended. It was not mentioned that one was recommended for dining at the more casual comptoir that is also owned by the hotel (located in a third building across the street). The garden building is not on the main boardwalk but at night this was a blessing as there was club music being played on the boardwalk area at the time we were heading to bed (11pm). My main problem is that the room felt cheap: once the pull out couch was made for our kids, it was literally impossible to walk around it and up the stairs to our loft bed. We walked OVER the foot of the kids bed. As someone else mentioned, the couch is split into two twin beds with a gap in the middle (good in the case of our kids, perhaps bad for others). The cheapest and tiniest bar of soap was provided in the bathroom, and toilet paper was dispensed in individual sheets. Only one shower soap/shampoo/other? was available in the shower. I do not mind situations like this as I travel with my own toiletries, however, for the price I paid I would expect a higher quality of service and amenities. Finally, there was really no indoor communal space in the garden wing - it felt more like a motel than hotel. I’ll probably be looking for a different place if I ever travel to this area again.

The hotel and the restaurant are very high class, we were very well received, Maxime and all the staff were kind, do not hesitate to ask them if you have a special request, as for us we had a pleasant stay, we will certainly return there. Once again, a big thank you for the quality of service. Jacky R.

We already knew it. Change of ownership. Great breakfast. Huge, magnificent garden. We will come back
