Pierre & Vacances Residence Le Green Beach

First the positives: - Beautiful location, nice en quiet. Excellent for holiday - Close to village with all amenities - Very good service of all staff, super friendly - Excellent Swimmingpool, suited for all ages. And it was not overcrowded - Very handy laundry service possibilities. - Very good, excellent beds. The down sides : - The houses are ridiculous small. There is no room to move or put your suitcases any where. No descent sitting area / living room. It is time to merge 2 houses into 1. - You only get a limited amount of towels. If it is hot you just need more. The resort warns upfront to bring sufficient on your own..... For the price you pay this should be better. - For the toilet paper the same thing, you only get 1 rol when you arrive, after that you have to take care of it yourself. No big deal of course, but for the money you pay this should be included. - We were fighting of an ant investation. You are in a rural setting so you can expect nature to show some activities, but these were in the floors, in the kitchen walls and behind the skirting boards. Ridiculous!!!! Every morning we had to vacuum to remove hundreds.. - It needs to be cleaner upon arrival. First thing we did is cleaning. I don't blame the staff, they work hard and are very friendly, but they only get so much time to clean a house. It just isn't possible to do it properly. Again for the money you pay.... - Shower is extremely small, it hard to move around. The way the doors open (also in other parts of the house) it takes a way a lot of room. Why haven't they used sliding doors? - Everything in the house feels old, wanky and at the end of its life. You are continously worried you will break something or if it could fall apart. - Not enough parking in the high season. How hard can it be? You build so many houses, so you should have a least the same amount of parking spots, guess what... they don't. If you arrive late at night, it is a nightmare. This needs improvement immediately. After more than a week, you just get very frustrated. So if you need a short stay to visit the Normandy (D-Day) beaches and the area, this is OK, but I would not stay more then 2 nights. Because of all the downsides, the resort has an issue, people will not return and don't wan't to stay longer. That is a shame, because it is well set up resort in a beautfull location. We won't return.

The apartment was dirty. Filled with spindle tissue and hair. In addition, our toilet/bathroom stank of tis. We complained about it and got it cleaned but it didn't help the least. There were many basic things missing. We are a family of 5 people (2 adults and 3 children) and there was not enough service for all of us. For example, there was only one wine glass and not even a cutting board or a sharp knife for vegetables. The indoor pool area was also old and worn out. Hard to look out the windows for lime. On the positive side, the outdoor is really lovely. There is plenty of room for children and play. The outdoor pool was also really nice. It is a pity that the place is not being kept as it really could have the potential to be a great family resort.

Horrible place! Never have I experienced such lack of service. When booking I had confirmed having two houses next to one another. When we arrived the houses were placed far from each other. Multiple times we requested a solution and everytime nothing happened. We ended up suggesting a compromise to all living in one house, and still there was a complete lack of understanding and service - and still no solution! On top of this the houses were dirty with cobwebs all over. We ordered cleaning, which was accepted, but again nothing happened. Very unprofessional place.
