I had a pleasant stay at the Mercure Deauville. The location is very convenient for exploring Deauville, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. The hotel itself is relatively small, which gives it a more relaxed and personal feel. My room was clean and the bathroom was fine. It was also nice to have air conditioning in the room, especially during the warmer days. The room was a bit on the smaller side. The hotel has a public parking garage underneath the building, which is very convenient. However, be aware that the garage is closed between 8:00 PM and 8:00 AM, meaning you cannot access your car during those hours. There is also parking available on the street and opposite the hotel, which provides a useful alternative. The main downside was the general maintenance of the room. Although it was clean and perfectly usable, it could use some attention. In my room, there had clearly been a leak in the ceiling, which had caused some of the paint to peel and flake off. For the price of the stay this was a big let down... Overall, I had a good stay. The friendly staff, convenient location, cleanliness and air conditioning were all positives. However, for the price I would have expected it to be a little bit better....

After being assigned room 102, we asked to change it because it was located right next to the breakfast room. A friend who had stayed at this hotel had recommended that I definitely not accept a room on the breakfast level, as it is noisy starting at 7:00 a.m. My daughter (stay planned for her birthday, special requests specified in the reservation but according to the front desk invisible on the site) and I felt that this request for a change was not really appreciated. We were assigned room 207 (specifying that we would not be able to change rooms for the stay) right above the breakfast room which, I confirm, is very noisy in the morning until 10:30 a.m. Privilege room and breakfast room are small, terrace neglected. Impossible to park in the parking lot because there are 8 spaces for 53 rooms (around the hotel all spaces are paid). Breakfast with diverse and quality products (except the fruit salad which would have deserved more fresh fruit and not canned). Breakfast waitresses are pleasant, running everywhere and bending over backwards to satisfy the customers. Good bedding. Appreciated proximity to the small marina and the city center. At the front desk, pleasant staff but a feeling of superficial friendliness. Apparently we could pay with vacation vouchers, but that was not offered to us, too bad! Value for money is really not up to a 4-star standard; we will not stay in this hotel again.

A comfortable hotel with a warm welcome. The privilege rooms facing the park are very pleasant as they also have a small balcony or terrace. Relaxing hotel, even when it is full. Very friendly and dedicated staff. Quality breakfast with fresh products
