Room 10: The weather was mild on the west coast this year and, fortunately, this side of the Gironde was spared from the fires. Nature can be harsh, but we discovered its most beautiful side. For seven days, we lived to the rhythm of the waves, slept with the windows open, and woke up with the salty taste of the sea. From our bed, we could see the island of Oléron, separated from us by the changing waters. The rooms are small but impeccably clean; they have comfortable beds and effective air conditioning for the moments when the sun gets too intense. The breakfast is more than hearty by French standards. Every morning, the staff showed great enthusiasm, starting our day with their best smiles. Our first visit was over thirty years ago, and many things have changed since then. However, the spirit of the original owners endures, and we hope that this atmosphere will persist for a long time to come. Like us, admire the sunset, enjoy the play of changing colors, and dream of the moment when you can return. Here too, every morning, there is a very motivated service team that starts your day with their best smile. Our first visit dates back more than 30 years, and in the meantime, a lot has changed here. Yet the spirit of the former owners remains present, and we hope that this atmosphere may continue for a long time. We were also won over by this wonderful spot, a true gem where you immediately feel at home, whether staying, dining, or simply enjoying the setting. A very beautiful place that we recommend with our eyes closed and where we will have great pleasure returning.

Hotel and restaurant very good in every respect. Kind and very attentive staff, sensational room, exceptional geographical location, practically right on the water (at high tide of course 😉), very good restaurant. In short, nothing to say, everything was perfect.
