RUN AWAY! DEPLORABLE EXPERIENCE, CARPET STAINED, BUILDING POORLY MAINTAINED, PAINTING AND SHUTTERS TO REPEAT. The whole building is renovated.

We stayed here for a night while visiting Cognac. The hotel is in a very nice situation with lovely views from the back of the house over the countryside. It also has a pool which was a little chilly in late September! First impression as you entered the hotel was that the grounds needed some maintenance. Dead flowers in boxes on the hotel steps etc. However the hotel itself was well maintained and reception staff were very welcoming although waiting staff were not very proactive when it came to ordering for dinner. Our room, a deluxe room, was spacious and well decorated with a large en-suite. Dinner was pleasant but nothing to write home about.

Domaine du Breuil is spectacular, our group enjoyed two days in this quaint chateau. When we arrived they were preparing an exquisite meal that we had reserved in advance. They took care of even the smallest details to ensure our stay was exceptional. When making the reservations I spoke to Nicole, not only did she make our reservation for our stay, she also helped us reserve our tours, transportation and meals. Domaine du Breuil is a special place where you can just sit back and take in their magic!
