Village des Amareyeurs

The team is excellent, kind and smiling. But the buildings are outdated, no air conditioning (with 34°C, it's hard to sleep), old radiator heaters, a "kitchen" that only bears the name, and old and tired shower rooms. A "lounge" that seems to come from the 70s, no decoration, a tiny television, free wifi but with a ridiculous speed (better to stick to 5G), and an invasion of dozens of small yellow spiders. A strong smell in the house (insecticide??) At €180 a night (+ over €500 for 3 nights), I am not ready to return. You can find a thousand times better on Airbnb, sorry.

Clean and acceptable, but the residence is aging and sad. Cramped kitchen, complicated for six people. Minimalist equipment. 36°C!!!! No air conditioning and not a single fan, the accommodation is stifling. Not really any entertainment, not even a game of pétanque. Additionally, the residence is occupied by many owners who do not want to be disturbed but are doing DIY with a grinder on a Sunday morning! Beware, no WiFi!!! 14 days without WiFi because it was broken. Welcoming staff, thank you! But we will not return.

We immediately informed the person at the reception about the inability to connect properly to the network; their astonishment; flimsy excuses about traffic; a commitment from the service provider to intervene; ...; without Wi-Fi after a few days, a phone call to the reception with the village manager (similar excuses, commitment,...). Without results, we consulted the reviews about the village online and found that this Wi-Fi issue has been recurring for a long time and that Odalys has been committed to resolving it for a long time. What we cannot tolerate is the lies and bad faith. Do not announce that there is Wi-Fi; it is false, and then do not force your staff to hold misleading "wobbly" positions with loyal customers. It is very uncomfortable for everyone.
