Grand Hotel de Cala Rossa

We ate at Rena (the beach restaurant), food is excellent so is service. Archie is an excellent host/waiter and looked after us extremely well. We will keep coming back!

Very nice charming hotel nestled in a beautiful garden by a small private beach. Lounge chairs are also set up high at the bar, which is very pleasant; the view is magnificent. The decor was completely to our taste, with beautiful objects, lovely armchairs, and beautiful rugs... kudos for the chandeliers in the room where the breakfast treats are displayed! Individually, they would be kitschy, but together they are superb. The products offered at breakfast are very varied in both savory and sweet, with very good quality items. However, one criticism: having to pay an extra charge for fried eggs when the night costs €1500 is inappropriate. An effort could also be made to offer a more extensive selection of teas. The sea view room is a good size, very comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Lounge chairs allow for relaxation even if one prefers to go to the beach. In the off-season, one should linger a bit more! The bathroom is beautiful. We dined one evening at the gourmet restaurant. Very good, but there were six of us, and we were bothered by the music being too loud, with beautiful Corsican songs followed by French songs. It was beautiful but too loud; during the aperitif and dinner, we were really hindered in our conversations. The service is mainly provided by young people, so I imagine they are apprentices. Of course, it is imperfect, but their willingness to do well was nice to experience! Finally, do not miss the vegetable garden and the chicken coop; I went there for a walk several times, it is a great pleasure, it is magnificent! Last point, the service and welcome are pleasant. We will return with pleasure.

Superb hotel, right at the water's edge, on a beautiful sandy beach. The decor is carefully designed with exteriors in old wood, the service is impeccable with friendly, pleasant, and very professional staff. The dining, whether it's the tapas or the gourmet restaurant, everything is excellent and of high quality. A true haven of peace and a very beautiful discovery!!!
