Very nice setting and the staff cares and super friendly. Great pool. Beautiful garden. Great massage at the spa. Good breakfast but you’ll have to pay for eggs (scrambled, poached). Only hard eggs at the buffet. It’s a real joke and huge disappointment. Gym is small not inspiring, just the view Rooms rather bland. Had to insist for an upgrade (LHW) although rooms were available. The balcony with the view deserves 5 stars. Will still give it a try.

Casadelmar is a dazzle. 20 years I have been lucky enough to visit it in the summer and enjoy the excellence of its setting, Service and gastronomy. Above all, the staff is adorable and spare no effort to satisfy you. The sight of Porto Vecchio Bay, the panorama of the Alta Rocca mountains, the landscaped garden surrounding the hotel is a delight. We also appreciate modern architecture and its integration into nature, the overall design of the establishment facing the bay, blending perfectly with the environment. The purity and sobriety of its design correspond to us completely. The pool is probably the most beautiful in all of Corsica. We love diving in after breakfast and enjoying it in the setting sun. What a marvel to see the water of the basin flush with that of the sea below, to witness every evening the setting sun behind the Ospedale. An aperitif on the hotel terrace is an antidote to any stress, a sublime relaxation that gratifies the end of a beautiful day. Finally, Chef Fabio Bragagnolo and his teams (at Grill, Room Service or Gourmet Restaurant) fill us with classic or sophisticated cuisine perfectly executed and with the best products. The contained size of the hotel and its capacities and the serenity that reigns there reminds us a little of the spirit of a family boarding house, any proportion kept. There are a few regulars who, like us, have found nothing better in Southern Corsica to rest. Criticism? Perfection is not of this world and criticism is always easy. Let’s try to formulate one so as not to make this comment a tourist leaflet. I would dream of an even better coffee (pure origin) and a whole bread of old sourdough flour at breakfast, a slightly firmer bedding in these soft sheets but all this is a matter of taste. Thank you to all the members of the hotel who thank us for their kindness, thank you to the designers of the establishment for having created this place to no other that has known how to magnify this country of character that we love so much. They'll recognize each other.

A charming boutique hotel with great vibes and thoughtful touches This is what I call a cute boutique hotel. The location was great — most restaurants were nearby. Still, I’d highly recommend renting a car so you’re not stuck in one area — there’s so much to see around Porto Vecchio. Breakfast was a highlight: an amazing spread of fresh fruit, meats, and pastries — everything was delicious. We couldn't eat at the breakfast terrace due to the wind. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to try lunch or dinner at the hotel as We caught some unusually windy days, so the beach and pool weren’t very enjoyable. Instead, we spent time at nearby beach clubs, which worked out great. Due to the wind, we also weren’t able to take the ferry to the sister hotel, Plage del Mar, and the drive was a bit too far for us. The suite we booked was spacious and very comfortable — we slept incredibly well. The only downside was the toilet setup: it was in a separate room near the entrance, with a very small sink and a persistent odor that never really went away. The gym was very small — just one treadmill, one elliptical, and some dumbbells — so we skipped it and went hiking instead. We drove about an hour to Piscia di Ghjaddu, a beautiful waterfall hike that was totally worth it early in the morning. Overall, the staff was wonderful — attentive and kind throughout our stay. Despite a few minor issues, we left with great memories and would definitely consider coming back.
