Ibis Gare

Small room, air conditioning makes a lot of noise. Around 400 at night, the bread smell from the bakery goes through your room with the same draft as the air conditioning. The breakfast is really too bad for what you pay for it. No more ibis for us.

I had a very nice experience and a very good stay at this Ibis hotel. How pleasant it was to first arrive in a clean and especially cool room thanks to the air conditioning in this intense heat. It is a hotel very well located across from the train station (exiting through the underground passage leading to Avenue Albert 1er) and just a few minutes' walk from the Jardin des Sciences de l’Arquebuse, the city center, the Port Canal, and Lake Kir with the famous Dijon beach. Everything can be done on foot for those who enjoy walking. The hotel is located not far from public transport (tram). The welcome and availability of the staff are very pleasant, which makes the experience even better. And for me, the highlight of Ibis hotels remains their super bedding for restful nights. The hotel offers breakfast in a buffet style. There is plenty of choice depending on everyone's tastes. There is also a restaurant providing service at lunch and dinner with a nice menu.

10 to 15 minutes on foot from the city center, depending on your walking pace, near the Arquebuse Park, one can visit the essentials of the city of Dijon, rich in monuments, museums, etc. The hotel has a large parking lot, free of charge, as it accommodates tourists, conference attendees, and meetings of all kinds. An imposing hotel, well soundproofed since the Dijon train station faces the hotel on a large avenue. Breakfast in the form of a "commercial" buffet, typical for this type of hotel. For dining, a menu is presented, simple cuisine, suitable for passing clientele. Courteous staff.
