MERCURE CENTRE

Well located hotel with closed parking, short walk to Beaune centre. No acknowledgement/upgrade of Accor status other than your welcome drink is in the app. On site outdoor swimming pool is a welcome bonus in the heat open until 8pm. Tip, take water container (remember classic room has no fridge) Breakfast was good, ate in town in the evening.

Not quite up to the usual standard. All of the staff seemed new and perhaps were still finding their feet. We missed the previous, long serving team, particularly Jean-François who always made one feel welcome and was so knowledgeable. The biggest disappointment was the restaurant - no table d'hôte menu prepared and the food once served was uninviting. The town centre is nearby so that might be an option for dining.

Perfect! A place just the way I like it. Very beautiful decor, superb room. Top-notch staff. Excellent cuisine and great vintages to delight epicureans! I recommend it.
