Ibis Niort

Arrived by car. Car park not secure and didn’t feel comfortable leaving it there looking at the young men rambling up and down the road. The check in system is ridiculous. Nobody on desk just a machine in foyer which didn’t recognise our booking number. You don’t even get a key just a pin code to enter the room. The check in foyer was full of leaves and was a bad first impression. The corridor to the room stank and looked like it had never been swept or vacuumed or had an air freshener used. Room itself was tiny - 20sqm advertised on Agoda is clearly rubbish. Again smelt very musty and the room was extremely dark. Nothing like the photos. It was like some kind of detention centre. We literally were in the room for 10 minutes and decided to leave. There were no staff to complain to hence review here. It’s cheap but it is NOT cheerful.

The hotel is not too bad On the road side, it is a little bit noisy despite the double glazing The lighting in the room is a bit weak for my taste The bed is comfortable, nothing more They could scent the hallways a little, there is a slight musty smell Impeccable breakfast. There is no elevator to go up to the second floor, it's a little bit. Too bad, that's my experience at this hotel.

Nice little hotel, easy to find, large parking, room and bedding are good; the only regret is that there is no decaffeinated coffee from the machine, only in small packets.
