Europ'Hotel

The location was good. However, that is the only good thing I can say about this hotel. The bathroom smelled disgusting and one of the lights did not work so the room was very dark. I had to shower and brush my teeth in a friend’s room because the smell was so unbearable. When I went to the desk with my issues, the woman at the desk suddenly said she did not speak English even though she had been speaking it the entire time. Fortunately I had a friend with me who spoke French so she could not ignore what I was saying. I asked to change rooms and was told there were no rooms available that were the same as what I booked, however, I had a friend checking out that day from the exact same type of room so there was another room of that configuration available. Overall the woman at the front desk was rude and the room smelled disgusting. Would not return here if you paid me.

This was ideal for a one-night stay prior to a flight home from Bergerac airport. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet and the bathroom felt quite new. The pool was also great and the staff even provided towels. The drive through to the car park is quite tight if you have a very wide car but it is good to have that secure parking available behind the hotel. You have to walk about 10 minutes to get to the centre (there is nothing of note around the hotel) but it’s not difficult to find your way.

An oasis in Bergerac Sabine, Stefan, and Brigitte and the entire team at the Europ Hotel (Brit) were extremely welcoming and attentive. You can see that they love their work and that they personally take care of the guests. The hotel is ideally located, just a 5 to 10 minute walk from the restaurants, bars, and shops. The hotel is impeccably clean, the breakfast is excellent, and the rooms are very comfortable. The pool is a real asset and a haven of peace after a busy day. It is also very clean and has a heated shower. Thank you. Mr. and Mrs. Smith
