Super noisy hotel, sleepless night assured

The room was totally fine; everything newish. There are some things not to like but at the lower price point this place has, they are easy to overlook. If there is a weak point on room furnishings, it could be the mattress which was acceptable only. Towels and bed linen clean but a little frayed in spots. Other guests remark on the area. There is a bar next door where guys hang around in the streets smoking and patrons are loud coming and going in the evening. The hotel had good windows that filter most of the noise but if you’re truly a light sleet, this could be a factor. I didn’t find the area dangerous; just don’t interact with the bar patrons. I just saw one guy at reception ever (so may be the owner/manager) and he was not fluent in English but we got by. The immediate area has the Porte of Augustus, a huge cathedral, 10 minute walk to the arena and other sites and a Carrefour market. Given the price, I would stay again.

Hotel still central, not in the most touristy part. Very uncomfortable access to the rooms due to the absence of a lift and the presence of very narrow stairs. The room allocated for 4 people was tiny, with a sofa bed completely obstructing the opening of the part of the room. Sofa Dirty, uncomfortable and with used linen... tiny bathroom where it was difficult to move Sconsigliato!
