De l'Atelier

We stayed at the Hotel de L Atelier for 1 night from August 2nd to the 3rd and arrived from Basel. The hotel is a jewel, one of the most beautiful boutique hotels I have ever visited. It is located in the middle of Avignon among many small cafés, bars, and restaurants, and it has AC, which is definitely very pleasant in August at 35 C plus. The atmosphere and the friendliness of all the staff is impressive. Stephan, the owner, and his team take care of every detail and anticipate your every wish. We can confidently and gladly recommend this hotel, and if we are in Avignon again, Stephan's hotel will be our first choice. There are secure parking spaces (9! euros per night) for the hotel in the immediate vicinity, and everything can be easily visited from the hotel on foot or by bus. The price-performance ratio is also very good. Thanks to the wonderful team and also greetings to the young woman from England (unfortunately forgot her name) who took such good care of us. A very nice discovery of this charming building right in the center of Villeneuve les Avignon. A very warm welcome from the owner who makes us feel at home. He took great care of us throughout our stay. Excellent bedding and a hearty breakfast to enjoy in the shade of the trees in the small inner courtyard. We will return.

Lovely hotel in Provençal style located in the medieval part of Villeneuve-lès-Avignon. Friendly and helpful staff always ready to help you. Beautiful house and garden. Clean and quiet rooms. Good breakfast. During the day there would always be complimentary beverages and freshly baked biscuits and cakes. We enjoyed our stay very much. Villeneuve-lès-Avignon itself is very beautiful little town with charming sights. The location of hotel is very convenient for exploring Provence and Languedoc.
