Asked for early check in when we arrived at mid-day. We’re told it wasn’t possible was was fair enough. Got to the desk at 3pm and was told room not ready for another half an hour. Not the nicest of hotels sadly, but on the beach so deserves 1 star.

Very good hotel, very good location, sea view, direct access to the beach through the pool, small downside: provide more lounge chairs in season..., warm welcome, we had a very good stay, very good breakfast. Free parking at the hotel, certainly not very big, but not negligible in Arcachon!!

An expensive room and on day one immediately no water all day; no showering, no going to the toilet, no brushing your teeth and no one from the hotel to inform us of the situation or ask if they could help. We had to chase everything ourselves. Worse: they indicated that the problem had only lasted a while!! Didn't want to accommodate us in any way. Absolutely not focused on the well-being of guests! We have been treated badly! Never experienced anything like this before.
