Holiday Inn Garden Court Meriadeck

Quiet hotel, close enough to the center with the tram or bus. One can park on the street behind the hotel. 2 Nights Sat4 and Sun5 July. Calm welcome, small bar but open very late. No fridge, but a bottle of fresh water + glasses available near the elevators. Room well soundproofed and bathroom very clean. Bedding okay. Good adjustable and efficient air conditioning. _ For the price, very good varied sweet/savory breakfast buffet, good coffee. and freshly squeezed orange juice. The only downside is that there was no bacon with the scrambled eggs. but there were small "white" sausages... something I've never seen before, it ruins the experience! Saturday morning service was okay, but on Sunday one of the two waitresses was overwhelmed and some ingredients were missing... _ Furthermore, my room had a toilet with a broken flush that was said to be repaired, yet the same problem occurred the next day, this person needs to learn how to work properly...

Welcoming smile. The rooms are spacious and the bedding is comfortable. Breakfast was complimentary, which is a real plus. The proximity to the tram is appreciated. On Sundays, parking is free on the street.

A very nice place. The staff is always friendly. The room and bathroom were very clean. The breakfast buffet is rich and varied.
