La Maison du Lierre

Beautiful boutique hotel of the highest standard. Rooms small but perfectly formed. Patio courtyard charming and pretty. Spotless throughout. A thoroughly enjoyable stay!!!

We stayed at this hotel with my wife, it’s a very pleasant surprise in the heart of Bordeaux. The establishment is very charming, cozy, and extremely well-maintained. We had a room overlooking the patio, it’s a really very pleasant place where you feel good right away, surrounded by vegetation in the heart of the city, in an almost unreal calm. The room was very nice, the bedding very comfortable, and the air conditioning very effective. What really makes the difference, in addition to the setting of this establishment, is the level of service quality, the extreme professionalism, the kindness, and the availability of the staff. Very cozy and clean hotel in the centre of Bordeaux. Newly renovated with beautiful decoration which gives that boutique feeling in everything from lightning and furniture to porcelain and table settings in the breakfast room. The rooms and bathrooms are small, but well planned. In the room there was a shelf to put your things on, and also in the tiny bathroom there was good space to put things. Details that matters. The air condition worked well and we also appriciated the cold water in the lobby. We had a small balcony but I think it was nicer to sit in the lovely courtyard. The location is good, with restaurants nearby and walkning distance to all the main sights. It was very clean och quiet (except that we could here some noice from a nearby bar but that´s something I count on staying in the middle of a city). The breakfast was cute, but maybe I could have wished for a wider selection and more of everything, since it is a buffet, espacially if you have children. Service was good, and a liked the sence and fragrance in the lobby!
