We rented the 5 star suite for over 500 euros per night. For the price one expects a well maintained clean room. Even with an old chateau, there should be no cobwebs in all corners. The bathroom had dirty drains. Everything was run down and unkempt. The renovation jam is extreme in this suite. The classic decor was actually unkindly placed in the room. The conservatory is furnished with silent bulky waste.
I was there 20 years ago. It wasn't much better. But nothing has been done in the house since then. The location itself is very nice and would have a lot of potential, the food is delicious. The staff are friendly. But the hotel itself would urgently need to be restored. A welcome drink of water or wine is actually common in this price range. Not here, though. Too bad
