Hotel Restaurant l Alexain

The hotel was probably nice when it opened in the 60s. Now it appears worn and ruined. It was 27gr in the room at night and the beds were so soft that we lay with head and legs up and middle down. We had booked a suite which is actually just a double room with a break out sofa. The bathroom was tiny with shower curtains. The toilet was in its own room, which is actually practical but the room was perceived as claustrophobic. The pictures on the booking page lie and there was neither bar nor supermarket/kiosk in the hotel. It is remote and there is nothing within walking distance. In the description of the hotel was mentioned garden, but we found no garden, only parking. It was awful, we checked out after one night but had to pay for all three nights we had booked. No help to get from either the booking service or the hotel. The receptionist said that if we had booked directly at the hotel they could be helpful. It is the second time this holiday that the hotel expresses that you get worse treatment when using the booking platform than to book at the hotel! This makes us booked directly at ibis and got a nice experience of colmar!

Varied and creative food. Very hearty breakfast with Crémant d'Alsace. Spacious and quiet restaurant. Large parking area in a quiet location, with the freshness of the altitude, as well as the song of the birds. In short, in a word or a hundred, a perfect four-day stay. We will definitely return. Dear traveling friends, avoid this hotel and even the entire chain. They do not respect their customers, they do not accept their mistakes, and even less the feedback.
