Hotel Saint Charles

Hotel tastefully renovated by new owner. Excellent welcome, very good communication, responsive and kind staff. The rooms are very comfortable, clean, well equipped and quiet. The pdj is on top. Bravo and good luck with the rest. I highly recommend!

I have booked a fully refunded room through @booking.com after canceling the hotel the property refused to give us a refund without a valid reason I never recommend this property Before I pay to the property I checked twice the hotel refund policy the property and booking.com said I would get a full refund After cancellation the property not even respond to my calls and messages

One of the beds broken on arrival. Broken door handle. Broken shower. Broken sink plug. Everything held together with tape. No offer of breakfast, but I wouldn’t have taken it anyway. Building appears primarily give over to migrants or refugees from Africa. Garden full of their children’s toys. Residents chatting away in the garden as loudly as any African market square. I think they are only renting out one outbuilding, where I stayed. If only they fixed the broken fixtures it would have been an ok 2 or 3 rating, since in fairness it’s a potentially good room, and reception chap was helpful ringing to check on arrival - I guess as I was only guest. Good lockable parking. The old hotel facilities still there, just deteriorating by the day. Though without basic repairs it has to be a 1 star rating.
