The most horrible experience there is. Cockroaches, mold, holes in the sheets, extreme heat without air conditioning, a pool in worse condition than a crowded municipal pool, unpleasant staff, and the worst part is that during a dispute they charge the credit card without the clients' consent. My husband and I arrived around 3:45 PM in the heat wave, we were just eager to rest. We arrive in the room and the first thing is that the cleaning was only done superficially, there was no time to complain, we had to go shopping, upon returning, unbearable heat in the apartment, we thought jumping in the pool would be the best way to relax, we wanted to avoid any problems. Bad idea, the water quality was worse than mediocre, unpleasant odors, we still tried to be patient, we thought it could happen, it was the end of the day (8 PM), we decided to go wash up and eat before everything closed, in the shower there was a spider corpse hidden behind the shower gel, limescale marks, sewer smells. That was too much, we wanted to complain but there was no one at the reception anymore. We went to eat to unwind (the only positive point was the restaurant), we tried to return to the room, a serious mistake, it was even hotter than when we arrived, impossible to stay in there, and then the drama happened, a first cockroach, then a second, without hesitation, our belongings were taken back to the car, we went for a walk around the village trying to decide what to do. 1 AM we return, still indecent heat, 3rd cockroach, the last straw, we sent them emails, 3 to be precise, explaining and showing all the photos taken and the incredible lack of hygiene. Key in the mailbox and we left at 2 AM. The next day still no consideration from them. We contacted them to express all this in person, the person on the phone was rather pleasant and sorry for the situation, apparently it is a habit with pests, the lack of hygiene, but he refused to make any commercial gesture knowing that we had spent a total of 3 hours in this hell. We therefore sent an email to mention our rights and especially the duties of the hotel residence. The person replied to us by email in a very aggressive, arrogant, and uncooperative manner, sending us the bill to be paid. It was out of the question for us to pay the full amount, a choice we presented to our interlocutors. Then silence from their side, we thought they were certainly trying to find solutions, but not at all, with the credit card numbers we had to provide to book the room, they took the full amount without our consent and even worse, behind our backs, this is unacceptable and intolerable. Avoid as quickly as possible!!! Les Rives de la Fecht far from a 4-star. Read the reviews carefully before going!!!

Clean apartment but noisy at night, wooden and metal stairs where you can hear footsteps and talking until late. Pool where the water is cold, no supervision. Sauna where some couples go with children aged 5 or 6, which is unacceptable. Mattress and sofa not very comfortable, coffee machine but not even a single pod! They sell them at the reception but 1€ per pod 🙄. The towels were not changed in 4 days of stay and no cleaning during our entire stay. I will not renew the experience.

We had a pleasant stay. The apartment was clean and complete. Close to Colmar and the small typical Alsatian villages. I recommend.
