The hotel is in its original state; one feels like returning to 1950, but that is what gives it its charm. The room is spacious, and the breakfast is royal. And I cannot find the words for the daytime receptionist as well as for the lady of Philippine origin at breakfast. These two people have shown a kindness that I have rarely seen elsewhere. Top hotel, close to the train station and the city center.

A lovely stay as a couple some time ago, with personalized service and a warm welcome. We particularly enjoyed the bar, its cuisine, its music, and its overall hospitality. A romantic and relaxing stay indeed!

I highly recommend this hotel, whether for a business or personal stay. I will gladly return!
