Excellent value for money 6 minutes' walk from the city center, parking included.
Admittedly the hotel is worn out and the rooms are old-fashioned but the essentials are there to get by for a night or for tiny budgets.
The beds and the rooms and bathrooms are clean. The hotel is quiet.
The only downside during this heatwave, there is no air conditioning or fan, it was very hot in the rooms.

A disaster. I booked two nights and paid upon arrival because the receptionist (very old male person with n manners whatsoever) insisted on it. When i got into the room I understood why. The room was smelly and not air-conditioned and had no fans. It was almost +30 Celsius outside. I went back and asked for a fan. The receptionist got aggressive and told me to open the window and forget about money back.
Back to the room as too late to go elsewhere. There were cracks in the walls, no mini fridge and only one pillow flattened to the size of a pancake.
It looked like a cliché hotel from the 60-ies movies with Jean Gaben being a vice cop or a criminal, dilapidated one-night place for cheap thrills. Outside, cars were honking celebrating a football match victory and babies were crying. Cheap Mulhouse district. Trying to sleep with an open window was not a option. I stayed one night somehow and left next day without looking back.
Avoid this miserable hole at all cost.

the entrance is a little run down, the elevator is fast, then the room is tidy, clean and well heated, the bathroom is small but the shower is great, convenient private parking, we are in peno city center. Too bad the breakfast discreet but in a freezing room. Very affordable price.
