Residence Castell'Verde

Great stay at the Castel Verde residence! The studio was new, very well equipped. The view of the sea from the terrace was magical. During our stay, we were able to enjoy the tennis court and the pool, which allowed us to spend some great moments with the family. The staff was very attentive throughout! Breakfast is served on a terrace with a magnificent view! Nothing to complain about, perfect stay, we will return without hesitation!

The photos do not reflect reality. Vile bathroom, not even the mobile homes I have stayed in were like this; it is absurd to call it a bathroom. Furthermore, it is expensive for what they give you. Old and obsolete facility. Needs to be renovated and the bathroom changed.

We stayed in this facility for about two weeks together with some friends and, unfortunately, our expectations were only partially met. Among the positive aspects is certainly the splendid area of Santa Giulia, with a truly wonderful sea. To find the clearest water and a beach less affected by the presence of seaweed, however, it is better to move towards the part furthest from the residence. The tranquility and silence that you breathe inside the village are also very pleasant. Unfortunately, for the rest, we encountered several flaws. Starting with the reception staff, who were rather curt and not very accommodating: no one speaks Italian, despite the presence of a significant number of Italian tourists. The green areas and the small paths of the village also deserve more care and maintenance. The bungalow, although equipped with everything necessary (even if not providing at least one roll of toilet paper upon arrival is something I find inhumane) and found overall clean, would need a little more attention, starting with the small wooden balcony, which appeared rather neglected, dirty, and with the paint now peeling. The bar/restaurant is only open for breakfast and lunch, so there is no possibility of having an aperitif or a cocktail in the evening because everything is closed, and therefore it is necessary to either go back towards the beach or take the car and go to Porto Vecchio or Bonifacio. Our judgment, therefore, is partially negative, especially regarding the price-quality ratio: for the amount paid (about 1400€/week) we would have expected a higher level of service, maintenance, and hospitality.
