Here's a detailed negative review — harsh but without legally dangerous accusations: ⸻ Unfortunately, my experience with Les Loges was extremely unpleasant and completely out of step with the level of accommodation you would expect from a hotel of this format. I was supposed to check in on April 26, Sunday, for one night. After a very long journey, I came to Annecy expecting to get safely to the hotel and rest. On Booking, it was stated that the check-in starts at 4:30 p.m. Moreover, about two weeks before I arrived, I wrote to the hotel in advance asking about the possibility of an early check-in, because I knew I could arrive earlier. Unfortunately, I never received any response. When I arrived at the hotel, the doors were closed. There was no normal greeting, reception, clear instruction or person in place. I found myself at a closed door after a long drive with virtually no idea how to get in or what to do next. After a few attempts, I managed to reach a hotel representative. This man redirected me to another employee. The second staff member, in turn, said that he was not making any decisions and advised that the first person be called again. After that, I tried to call back the first employee four or five times, but they just didn't answer me. In the end, instead of getting help, I received a message in an unpleasant and, in my opinion, ham-fisted tone: they say that if Booking is not answered, then early settlement is impossible. That is, the guest must know for himself that the lack of response is a refusal. To me, this is a totally unacceptable level of service. In a normal hotel, the guest’s request is answered in advance, especially if it concerns occupancy, arrival time and access to the building. The most unpleasant thing is not only the impossibility of early settlement. I understand the early check-in may not be available. The problem is complete lack of communication, closed doors, throwing a guest from one person to another, ignoring calls and being extremely unfriendly. After a long drive, being at a closed hotel and trying to figure out who can even let you in is not a service, but a stress. I get the feeling that a guest is not expected or appreciated here. Instead of calmly explaining the situation, proposing a solution, apologizing or at least showing minimal involvement, the staff simply abdicated responsibility. This seems particularly strange considering that the reservation was made in advance and the question about the early check-in was sent two weeks before arrival. I travel a lot and stay in a lot of hotels, but this level of organization and communication is rare. Even if the property is operated in the form of an apartment or boutique accommodation, this does not relieve it of its obligation to communicate normally with guests and ensure a clear arrival process. As a result, my first impression of Les Loges was completely ruined. Instead of resting, a closed door, nerves, unanswered calls and a feeling of total helplessness. For a hotel that bills itself as a comfortable and quality place to stay in the centre of Annecy, this is simply unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone who appreciates normal service, respect and confidence that you will actually be greeted after the road, rather than being left standing at a closed door. Even a good location or beautiful interior cannot compensate for this attitude towards guests. Very disappointed. For me, it was one of the most unpleasant experiences of settlement.

Expedia showed this as a 5 star hotel and it is definitely not. I think the pictures of the apartment must have been taken ages ago. It was dark for one thing and our apartment was on the first floor. We walked 10 minutes from train station and you go straight to old town. We have visited Annecy before many years ago. There is no one at a front desk and you need to call someone 30 min. upon arrival so someone can meet you to give the keycards. You need to use a code to get in the front door and elevator. The front door needs to be push hard to open. I guess I didn’t see the spiral staircase to go up to the bedroom in the photos when making reservations. Luckily it was an en-suite. There was also a toilet next to kitchen. We enjoyed fresh fruit from the farmers market the next day, I bought enough to last us 5 days. The kitchen sink was so small (I mean it was 7” wide x14” long). It was difficult to wash your plates. Our next hotel in Switzerland was a 5 star hotel and the huge difference was very noticeable. I would not recommend this place.
