Golf Et Montagne

Located right next to a golf course in a very quiet place. We stayed in the ground floor, no lake view but a great terrace and yard on the room entrance. The owner- super friendly, helpful, welcoming and gives you a homely filling right away. Breakfast was fine, quite basic, but with a great hospitality of the owners. Rooms are very spacious, not the very modern, but clean. If you are looking for a small, friendly hotel- this is the one

Willy, the owner, was very welcoming and helpful during our stay. He always had a smile and a cheerful attitude. We arrived later in the evening and had not had dinner yet. He offered to call the local restaurant and make a reservation for us. His recommendation (Cafe de la Place in Talloires) was great! He suggested a drive around the lake and told us about the local chateau, which is beautifully lit at night. The room was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

I turned up with my bike, and was made very welcome, even being allowed to put the (clean, dry) bike into the room. Nice room, good breakfast. Peaceful and nicely appointed, I would certainly come again or recommend. It's a little distance from the beach at Talloires, though.
